The PGM’s Working Tools Challenge in association with the Adair Club (Somerset Light Blues)

The working Tools challenge is a new concept designed to encourage the newer brethren to begin presenting work on the “floor” and to help them with their future progression in masonry.

There will be a new Gold Badge on offer, to acknowledge the work having been conducted. This will then replace the “Light Blue” Adair badge that is already worn by the members.

The Challenge is to present the Working Tools in each of the three Degrees, once completed they will be able to request the new Gold Badge. This is open to all Freemasons including those who are not in the Adair Club, but who would like recognition for presenting the Working Tools. The application can be found below and should be sent to the Adair Club Secretary

The new Gold Badge, will be presented by the Presiding Provincial Officer at an Installation meeting, to mark this special achievement.

It will be promoted by the Adair Club, the “Somerset Light Blues”, but is open to anyone and will start on the 1st September 2024. For those Brethren who have already presented the Working Tools, they will have to present them again in each degree; this does not need to be in their own Lodge, if they are visiting another Lodge and have permission from them they can present the Tools there.
